We empower communities by providing residents a platform for their voices to be heard on issues that they care about – whether they are quality of life or “hot button” issues. Calhoun Communications has 14 years of experience creating “outside of the box” ways to engage communities by reaching them where they are through education, outreach, town hall meetings, issue forums, social media and public awareness campaigns.

Dionne Johnson Calhoun, Calhoun Communications CEO previously served as a Legislative Associate for Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton and Project Manager for her Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference issue forums.
